I can recall going downtown to Hamilton on that particular day, walking the streets as I was doing essentially a piece on some buildings being converted to dorms. I came back to the office afterward. Had I been there maybe an hour or two later, I might have faced a gunman walking the streets, after he had killed one and before he killed another.
