Representatives of the Jasper Police Department, the Jasper Fire Department, and Regional Paramedical Services responded Wednesday morning to a medical emergency with a 17-year-old student at the Walker County Center of Technology. Police Chief J.C. Poe said the student was taken to Children's Hospital in Birmingham and was in good condition.
