A UPS truck left a roadway, traveled down an embankment, and struck a tree just before 5 p.m. Wednesday evening. The accident occurred just past the New Prospect Road and Hudson Road intersection off Highway 5 in Jasper. A sedan was also involved in the accident. One of the two UPS drivers on-site was observed to have a knee injury but had not been transported for medical treatment. No further details were available at press time.
