The Walker County Sheriff's Office has arrested several individuals on distribution charges in the last week.
Benjamin Chad Norris, 43, of Parrish, was arrested for four counts of distribution of a controlled substance after a search warrant was executed at his residence on Thursday.
Narcotics Investigators Jim Browne and Josh Edwards had received information that Norris was allegedly selling heroin and methamphetamine from his home on Coal Creek Drive in Parrish as well as making deliveries of drugs to individuals throughout the area.
A search warrant was executed Thursday afternoon by Walker County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics, SWAT, and K-9 Divisions, along with the Dora Police Department.
On Jan. 7, Edwards arrested two in Jasper after he identified an individual that was suspected of selling methamphetamine out of his vehicle.
Stevie Douglas Harbison, 54, of Jasper, was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kyle Edward Caldwell, 24, of Jasper, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Edwards seized distribution weight (11 grams) during the investigation.
