Thomas Raymond Tapley, 53, a resident of Union Springs, Alabama, died unexpectedly at his home on Dec. 31, 2022.
Thomas was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, on Jan. 21, 1969.
Thomas is survived by caretaker and ex-wife, Sherri Currant; his mother, Karen Johnson (Jack); two beautiful sisters, Lora Tapley Way and Kelly Evelyn Tapley; two beautiful daughters, Ashley Blake Tapley (Kiefer) and Morgan Lyndsie Tapley Pingalore (Bobby); and two beautiful granddaughters, Kaia Rose Pingalore (4) and Charlee Kaye Pingalore (2). He had four nephews, Dan Way, John Way, Eric Potter and Finn Potter; and one niece, Lexi Potter. He loved his girls, grandbabies and niece and nephews with all of his heart. Thomas also is survived by two aunts, Gloria Corvino and Judi Geri; one uncle, Edward Tapley; and a great deal of cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas David Tapley; grandfather, Thomas Walter Tapley; grandmother, Evelyn Tapley; grandfather, Giles Austin; grandmother, Doris Jones Folino; uncle, Alan Austin; and uncle, Olen Hazel.
Special mention: Ex-wife, mother of children and long-life friend, Kimberly Kaye Tapley. Last but not least, he left behind six precious dachshunds that he cared about dearly.
His absence will leave a void for those who knew and loved him and he will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
