Parrish Elementary School hosted a Thanksgiving luncheon on Thursday. Many students were joined by their parents, grandparents or other family members to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal. The school's gymnasium was transformed into a dining room by lunchroom staff and custodians who worked hard to decorate tables with festive tablecloths and decor. Officials with the Walker County Board of Education and members of the Parrish Town Council were also invited to the special occasion.
