Ten arrested in narcotics operations in last week

The Walker County Sheriff's Narcotics Division led four operations on Monday that consisted of search warrants and arrest warrants.

The first trafficking operation was on Old Hwy 78 in Kansas, assisted by Carbon Hill Police Chief Antoine Cobb, where four ounces (112 grams) of methamphetamine was seized.

The second operation, conducted by WCSO's SWAT, Narcotics, and K-9 Divisions was on Sipsey Road near Pink and Roxie Dill Road. Investigators seized trafficking weight (approximately 14 grams) of heroin.

The third operation by the raid team was executed on Busby Church Road in Nauvoo.

The fourth operation by Narcotics Investigators Josh Edwards and Slade Reeves was on Ripley Road. Sgt. Kevin Emberg and K9 Deputy Steve Legg took part in the operation. Investigators seized trafficking weight (2 ounces) of methamphetamine after a positive K9 alert on the vehicle.

More arrests are expected as the investigation continues. Those arrested on Monday are as follows:

Brandy Michelle Atcher, 41 of Cordova, was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance.

Jimmy Warren Early, 45, of Haleyville, was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ricky Lynn Naramore, 54, of Carbon Hill, was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance and conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine.

Carolyn Sue Evans, 59, of Carbon Hill, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Two other search warrants were executed on Tuesday and Wednesday of last week after Sgt. Blair Huddleston and Narcotics Investigator Josh Edwards developed information on drug activity.

The search warrants were executed on Yellow Jacket Road in Townley and at the Domaine Trailer Park in Jasper. Investigators seized Heroin, Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia during the operations.

Six arrests were made.

Larry Marshall Thompson,  30 of Cordova, was arrested for two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.

Shaynna Brooke Barton, 28, of Boldo, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mandy Marie Odom Hanson, 41, of Jasper, was arrested for possession of marijuana 2nd, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic violation.

Jacob Wayne Hawkins, 29, of Guin, was arrested for possession of marijuana 2nd and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Leslie Marie Pair, 30, of Townley, was arrested on warrants for failure to appear on traffic violations.

Jimmy Randell Aderholt, 37, of Jasper, was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Wednesday, March 24, while deputies were patrolling the town of Sipsey, three arrests were made.

James Keith Ward II, 29, of Empire, was arrested on warrants with the Dora Police Department, Sumiton Police Department, Jasper Police Department and Pelham Police Department.

Danny Joe Quiroga, 41, of Cordova, was arrested on seven warrants with the Walker County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear.

Mark Jason Little, 39, of Empire, was arrested on three warrants with the Walker County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear.
