Mr. Ryan Childers, 30, of Jasper, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, in Jefferson County.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Liberty Church Cemetery in Vina. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Emma Lee Childers, Ronald and Sally Taliaferro, James and Barbara Allred and Richard Nelson; uncles, James Snow, Ronald Taliaferro Jr. and Edgar Lee Childers; aunt, Ermarie Childers Purser; cousin, Jonathan Childers;  and best friend, Justin Chappell.

Survivors include his mother, Lee Anna Allred (Billy); father, Royce Childers (Adrienne); brothers, Anthony Childers (Morgan), Matthew Childers (Romanita), Chris Childers, Josh Allred (Bethany), Brad Allred (Kim) and Brandon Allred (Becca); aunts and uncles, Lisa Snow, Melissa Thomas (Johnny), Chelsee Woods (Cody), Mallorie Bentley (Tyler), Shannon Snow, Corrie Stiverson (DJ), Mona Lou Childers Odom (Jimmy), Lucille Childers, Shira Vinson (Keith) and Gretchen LaForty (Mark); grandmother, Geraldine Nelson; cousins, Trina Phillips (Jack) and family, Angie Purser and family, Stacy (Angie) and family and Tammy Evans (Bobby) and family; and nieces and nephews, Mattie Allred, Emma Lee Childers, Anida Childers, Adam Allred, Cooper Allred, Eli Allred, Brantley Allred, Hudson Bentley, Samuel and Hadley LaForty.

Honorary pallbearers are his brothers, Anthony Childers, Matthew Childers, Chris Childers, Josh Allred, Brad Allred and Brandon Allred.
