PARRISH - Norfolk Southern is refurbishing a trestle on Old Baltimore Road and the road will be closed for the next two weeks in that area, Mayor Heather Hall said on Tuesday.
"They are just growing due to the coal business. They are bringing more coal in," Hall said. "So they have to refurbish that to make it a little stronger."
The closed area will be "right at the train trestle," she said.
She said people "just won't be able to drive through. There are two different ways to get onto that road, so those who live over at that area - if you live over at Taft Road, they won't be able to get over to (Highway) 269."
