The latest casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic is the Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade and meeting in Jasper, which is a major event in the Frisco community each year. Organizers in the local chapter of the NAACP say that anyone wanting to participate in holiday events could look to ones in Birmingham, and people are urged to renew their $30 memberships in the NAACP.
