Monty Stockman, 72, of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Samaria Baptist Church. Don Graham will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Odie and Gaynell Stockman (one infant brother and twin infant sisters).
He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Nancy Stockman; and son, Lance Stockman. He is also survived by a sister, Laraine (Hayden) Smith; sister, Regena (Phillip) Johnsey; brother, Tim (Susan) Stockman; sister, Nina (Doug) Riley; brother, Richard (Michele) Stockman; sister-in-law, Kathy (Rick) Tyree; and a host of nieces and nephews. He would also want his special friend, Sammy Smith, to be added. A special thanks goes to Comfort Care Hospice.
