Miller: Each district needs $3M a year to make dent in bad roads

Commission chairman notes 2-cent sales tax raising $20 million for schools

DORA - Walker County Commission Chairman Steve Miller said that while the county has been able to put more funds recently into paving, $176 million would be needed to pave all the county roads in Walker County - and $3 million a year per district is needed to really start making a difference on catching up on bad roads in the county.
