Memorial Park Elementary School held its annual program to honor veterans on Tuesday. Students entertained a crowd of hundreds, including veterans, with patriotic songs and read tributes to those who have served our country. The school's halls were also decorated with photos of area veterans who are related to students. Many schools in Walker County are hosting programs to celebrate veterans this week, ahead of Veterans Day next Monday.
