Melba June Hunter went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 3, 2022, in Pensacola, Florida, at home surrounded by loved ones.

She grew up in Cordova and spent her childhood there with her parents, Floyd F. Fielding and Lessie E. Fielding and her siblings, Noel (Charlotte) Fielding, Steve (Ella) Fielding, Jean (Howard) Estes, Spud Fielding, Joyce Fielding, and Shirley (James) Harbin.

They were married for 65 years.

Melba had a career as a homemaker and retired from the accounting office at the Naval Exchange in Pensacola.
