Matthew Douglas Perrigin, 32, of Quinton, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023, at his residence.
Matthew was a graduate of Dora High School in 2009, where he lettered in baseball, football and wrestling. Upon leaving Dora, he went to Marion Military Institute, where he played baseball and wrestled.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bennie L. and Marie N. Perrigin; grandparents, Floyd and Margaret Williams; aunts, Loretta Williams and Alice Stone; and uncles, Floyd “Rocky” Williams Jr. and Danny Lee Williams.
He is survived by his father, Lloyd L. Perrigin of Quinton; mother, Kelly A. Perrigin of Quinton; sisters, Brittany Brown (Phillip) of Millport and Sarah Perrigin of Homewood; son, Justin Perrigin of Quinton; daughter, Aubree Freeman of Quinton; nephews, Logan Gray and Briggs Brown of Millport; nieces, Lily Brown and Remi T. Brown of Millport; uncles, Glenn Perrigin, Lonnie Williams, Wayne Vines and Scott Tittle; aunts, Patsy Vines, Judith Cole, Rachel Tittle and Aimee Williams; grandmother, Janet M. Britton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2023, at New Life Christian Assembly in Dora.
