Ms. Kristi Lynn Butler passed away at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, Alabama, on Monday, March 13, 2023, at the age of 47.
Kristi was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She had a beautiful smile that lit up any room. She loved spending time at the river. She was an avid animal lover, book-worm and movie connoisseur. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.
Kristi is preceded in death by her mom, Linda Kaye Ellis; brother, “Bubba” Claude Elmer McGee III; grandparents, Dave and Olene Love; uncle, Rusty Love; and brother-in-law, Joshua James Stone.
She is survived by her two daughters, Chelsea Swindall (Brooke) and Alexys Ellis; grandchildren, Grayson Ellis, Oliver Swindall and Kaleigha Ellis; mom and dad, Claude and Sherry McGee; sisters, LeeAnn Henderson (Johnny) and Lisa Stone; her beloved cat, HoneyDew and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held in The Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Carbon Hill, Alabama, on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 3 p.m. A visitation with the family and friends will take place from 1 p.m. until service time. Brother Scott McCullar will officiate.
