Hoyt Douglas Talley, 88, of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Grandview Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Boldo Memory Gardens. Gary Cordes will officiate.
Mr. Talley was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean (Woodley) Talley; son, Donald Hoyt Talley; mother, Dera (Davis) Talley; father, C.W. (Lumb) Talley; brothers, C.W. Talley and Garvie Talley; sisters, Vesta Estes, Greta Whisenhunt, Marzelle Brock and Leona Jackson.
He is survived by his daughters, Vicki Jean (Talley) Gray of Jasper and Bonita Renee (Talley) Uptain (Buddy Uptain) of Jasper; son, Timothy Ray Talley (Lisa (Brom) Talley) of Jasper; sister, Sue Allred (Gerald Allred) of Mobile; brother, Grady (Red) Talley ( Melba Talley) of Cullman; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boldo Memory Gardens, PMB 469, 900 Highway 78 East, Jasper, AL 35501.
