Hobert Leroy Myrick, 84, of Sumiton passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Bryan Cemetery. Pastor James May officiated. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hobert Myrick; mother, Julie Myrick; daughter, Shelbie June Corley; sons, David Lee Myrick and Douglas Wayne Myrick; sisters, Charlene Davis, Elizabeth Davis and Katherine McGill; brothers, Eugene Myrick and James Myrick; sisters-in-law, Wanda Myrick and Anne Myrick; and brother-in-law, John Cargile.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Myrick of Sumiton; granddaughter, Amber Aaron (Dakota) of Jasper; great grandchildren, Owen Aaron and Harper Aaron of Jasper; brothers, Thomas Myrick of Rome, Ga., and Wayne Myrick (Dianne) of Morgans Chapel; sisters, Edna Mae Cargile of Vance, Elaine Weldon (Joe) of Sumiton, Linda Dill (Jimmy) of Morgans Chapel and Carolyn Bryant (Gary) of Morgans Chapel; and a host of other relatives and friends.
