Geoffrey W. Phillips, 82, of Sumiton, passed away Feb. 21, 2021. He was a longtime employee of Pfizer Corp. He was a longtime resident of Michigan. He and his family moved to Alabama in 2001, He was a kind and caring person, who never met a stranger.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021 at 4 p.m. in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Nelson Kimberly will officiate. Visitation is Wednesday from 3 until 4 p.m.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Yvonne.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Annette Phillips; children, Susan Beyler (David), Coletta Barber, Richard Phillips and Lauri Dill; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister, Ginny Oliver.
