Gene "Raymond" Ballenger, 83, of Jasper, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2022, at Baptist Medical Center Princeton.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 16, 2022, at noon at Faith Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at Faith Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will be at Old Zion Cemetery. Daryl Gurganus and Eddie Lockhart will officiate.
Mr. Ballenger was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Ballenger; father, Butler Ballenger; and mother, Essie Ballenger.
He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Bryant, Anita Russell, Carlene Phillips (Jeff), and Bella Russell; son, Buddy Ballenger; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Phillips, Dakota Phillips, Aaron Phillips, Darren Chambless, Chad Russell and Johnny Stiles.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nate Alexander and Logan Alexander.
