Frank Wayne Walker Jr., 60, of Jasper, died November 12, 2020, at his home. 

Mr. Walker was born April 25, 1960, in Macon, Georgia, to Mary Ruth Walker and Frank Wayne Walker Sr.

He was a graduate of the Class of 1979 of Cordova High School. He continued his education at Walker College, where he studied drafting. Before completing the program, Mr. Walker began his career at Hanna Steel Inc. He just celebrated 35 years of loyal service as the main overhead crane operator for Hanna. He was most grateful for each one of his coworkers and their years of friendship.

He enjoyed SEC football and all things rock and roll. He enjoyed traveling and soaking up local history. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his fur baby, Tink.

He is survived by his daughters and their spouses, Brittany LaShae Sherer and Franklin Chase Sherer, and Mary Alexis "Lexi" Walker-Williams and Sade Walker-Williams; his grandchildren, Henry Gabriel "Gabe" Sherer, Freya Elizabeth Sherer, and Elowen Hazel Sherer; his sisters and spouse, Winona Dawn Walker, Sarah Lynn Walker Thomsen and Gary Thomsen of Lincoln, Neb.; his sister-in-law and spouse, Pamela Jean Brown and James Lester "Charlie" Brown Sr.; his nieces and their spouses, Jennifer Nicole Walker and Jim Csuhta, and Ashley Dawn Spears and Robbie Spears; his nephews and their spouses, John Ivan Rutledge, Ross Franklin Rutledge, James Lester "Jay" Brown and Tessa Brown, Nathaniel Richard Brown and Carrissa Brown; his great-nieces and -nephews, Ethan Shaw Spears, Baby Brandon Csuhta, Maryella Carolyn Rutledge and Andee Jean Rutledge, Camden and Colton Brown; his beloved aunt, Wanda Upton Spears; and his cousin, Joshua Upton. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Walker, whom he loved and cherished for 32 years, and his mother, Mary Ruth Walker, of Cordova.

Arrangements are being held at Wilson Brothers Chapel, 31404 NE 1st Avenue in Carbon Hill Sunday, November 22, 2020. Visitors are welcome at 4 p.m. Services begins at 6 p.m.
