Frank Ray McAdams

Frank Ray McAdams, 95, of Jasper, passed away on his birthday May 18, 2022, at Walker Baptist Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Friday, May 20, 2022, at 2 p.m., with Kilgore-Green Funeral Home directing. Alan Beasley will officiate.

Ray was born May 18, 1927, in Cordova. He graduated from Cordova High School in 1945. He served in the U.S. military and was stationed in Germany shortly after the end of WWII. He was the former administrator at Jasper Community Hospital and general manager of the Jasper Utilities Board. He was a member of many professional organizations and the First United Methodist Church of Jasper. Ray was a loving, caring and devoted husband, father and friend.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa McAdams; parents, John Dalton McAdams and Pearl Akins McAdams; sister, Ann McAdams Earnest; and brothers, Lecil McAdams and Grady McAdams. 

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Doris Barrentine McAdams; son, Alan McAdams (Brenda) and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Jasper or the Walker Area Community Foundation.
