Four people were arrested after being caught in the act of burglarizing a home on Father's Day.
Michael Heath Stuart, 22, of Jasper, has been charged with third-degree burglary, first-degree theft of property, reckless endangerment, attempting to elude, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Clint Hank Snow, 28, of Argo Hill, has been charged with third-degree burglary, first-degree theft of property, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear on attempting to elude.
Gabrielle Sage Busby, 21, of Thach, has been charged with third-degree burglary and first-degree theft of property.
Danyelle Kaitlyn Tidwell, 26, of Thach, has been charged with third-degree burglary and first-degree theft of property.
The incident occurred on Prospect Road. The homeowner called the Walker County Sheriff's Office after someone noticed a suspicious vehicle and several people at the residence.
The suspects fled when deputies arrived, striking the witness's vehicle on the way out.
Deputy Joseph Chappell pursued the suspects, who eventually stopped and were taken into custody.
Property from the home was found inside the vehicle.
In May, Chappell responded to another burglary in progress call in Argo in which suspects ran and he pursued them on foot.
Three arrested on drug charges
The Walker County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama Department of Corrections K9 Tracking Unit executed two search warrants Friday evening off Highway 5 outside of Jasper and Boldo Road.
The investigations, led by Narcotics Investigator Krimson Culverson, resulted in the seizure of heroin, methamphetamine, Alprazolam, Suboxone and marijuana.
Jennifer Nicole Zorbini, 40, of Jasper, was arrested for two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (heroin and methamphetamine), second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Christopher Michael Key, 41, of Jasper, was arrested for four counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, heroin, Alprazolam and Suboxone).
Michael David Morgan, 45, of Houston, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Two weeks ago an additional search warrant was executed in the Boldo community and a “Be on the lookout” was issued for Brandon David Whitt, 31 of Boldo. Whitt was wanted for felony unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.
Whitt was arrested over the weekend by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office. He also faces a return to prison on a potential revocation of his state probation.
