Eldridge Toy Run a success, despite rain

Posted 12/2/18

The Eldridge Toy Run brought a large crowd to the Free Will Baptist Children's Home, despite scattered rain showers. Hundreds of bikers from Alabama, Mississippi and other surrounding states made the drive to Eldridge to make donations that will help sustain the Children's Home, which provides a safe haven for more than 30 children who need a secure, loving place to live. Santa Claus also made a visit to the event and gave each child Christmas gifts. As of noon Saturday, over $60,000 had been raised for the cause.
