Drugs lead to 16 arrests in Oakman

The Walker County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics, K-9, and SWAT Divisions, along with the Oakman Police Department, Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Parole (State Probation), and the Department of Corrections K-9 Tracking Unit, made more than a dozen drug arrests in Oakman on Monday. 

During the operation investigators discovered people that had other outstanding warrants and found some to be in possession of narcotics. Investigators seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Those arrested are as follows:

• Lefty Willcutt, 57, of Oakman, was arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance.

• Aaron Clay Sartain, 28, of Oakman, was arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance, attempting to elude, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Kayla Shae Worley Davenport, 29, of Cordova, was arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance.

• David Earnesto Mcannally, 27, of Oakman, was arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Richard “Josh” Taylor, 56, of Oakman, was arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance.  Taylor also had a warrant for failure to appear on unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Felicia Jean Willcutt, 23, of Oakman, was arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance and probation violation.

• Russell Lewis Miller, 34, of Parrish, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Ashley Marie Warren Davis, 32, of Patton Hill Road, was arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Stewart Eugene Pope, 37, of Patton Hill Road, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Tanya Michelle Seybert England, 44, of Jasper was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and second-degree possession of marijuana.

• Johnny Vaden Jones, 33, Oakman, was arrested for probation violation and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

• William Jacob Martin, 30, of Oakman, was arrested for probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Freddie Delane Courington, 43, of Gibson Hill Road, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on driving under the influence (DUI), and two counts of Driving While Revoked.

• Joshua Ray Boteler, 30, of Saragossa, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Tiffany Jane Ender, 24, of Pineywoods, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

• David Heath Brown, 41, of Oakman, was arrested on a warrant with the Jasper Police Department.

Two individuals were already arrested and in the county jail prior to Monday’s drug operation.

Cedrick Maurel Harris, 53, of Oakman, will have a new charge added of distribution of a controlled substance.  Harris was already in the county jail for probation violation, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and illegal possession of prescription medication.

Kacilyn Paige Hunter, 23 of Quinton, will have a new charge added of distribution of a controlled substance.  Hunter was already in the county jail for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Another subject was arrested on a warrant with a different agency but had to be released to paramedics after experiencing a medical condition, while on the way to the jail.
