Drug arrests made in west Walker

Several drug arrests were made in west Walker on Wednesday.

An operation was carried in Saragossa, Kansas and Carbon Hill by the Walker County Sheriff’s Office Investigations, Narcotics and K-9 divisions as well as the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Bureau of Investigation, Dora Police Department and the Alabama Department of Corrections K-9 Tracking Unit. 

Investigators seized methamphetamine, unlawfully possessed firearms, stolen road signs, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics Investigator Jim Browne made the cases on the targets who were arrested for distribution of controlled substances. 

Zachary Gage Hooper, 29, of Saragossa, was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance.

Johnny Ray Sego, 37, of Kansas, was arrested for two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.

Andrew Jared Daniel, 35, of Carbon Hill, was arrested for three counts of distribution of a controlled substance.

Two suspects were already in custody on other charges. Colton Dwayne Thorpe, 26, of Carbon Hill, faces the new charge of distribution of a controlled substance.

Christopher Michael Lane, 29, of Saragossa, faces the new charge of distribution of a controlled substance.

Jason Wayne Flippo, 51, of Carbon Hill, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Joseph Marlin Flippo, 48, of Carbon Hill, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Crystal Jean Gilbert, 40, of Carbon Hill, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stephanie Lynn Tucker, 39, of Kansas, was arrested on a warrant with the Jasper Police Department. Tucker is also wanted by the Chilton County Sheriff’s Office.

Mandy Lashawn Dill, 36, of Green Road in Jasper, was arrested on a warrant with the Dora Police Department.
