Couple subcontracted for Mar-Jac convicted for transporting illegal aliens

Haleyville defendants also convicted for money laundering in federal court

A federal jury convicted a husband and wife on Tuesday, Oct. 12, for transporting illegal aliens to provide labor for a Jasper chicken plant, announced U.S. Attorney Prim F. Escalona of the U.S. Department of Justice's Northern District of Alabama in Birmingham and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent in Charge Katrina W. Berger.
