Upcoming church happenings, gospel singings and cemetery cleanings/meetings will be featured each Wednesday and Saturday in the Daily Mountain Eagle, and daily on the Community Calendar at www.mountaineagle.com. Events are listed free of charge. They are listed by calendar date and time as space allows, so there is no guarantee when or the number of days an event will run. Events are only accepted from local churches, faith-based ministries or organizations, and cemetery associations. Berry Civic Center in Berry hosts a Southern gospel singing Saturday, Feb. 17, at 6 p.m. featuring special guest singers, the Vaughn Family from Berry and Busby Family from Berry. Admission is free. A love offering will be received. Central Baptist Church at 900 Airport Rd. S. in Jasper will host the Page Trio and Barnett Family in concert on Saturday, Feb. 17, at 6 p.m. Free admission, love offering will be taken. The keynote speaker will be, Miller Piggott, the executive director of Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama in Birmingham. The seminar is open to all who would like to attend. No charge for admission.
