Betty Lou Hagood, 75, of Carbon Hill, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Pocahontas Cemetery. John Billy Butler will officiate.
Mrs. Hagood was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Edgil; parents, Ira and Adell Dockins; brothers, Bobby, Dennis and O'Neal Dockins; sisters, Judy and Sherry Dockins.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Michelle Edgil; grandsons, Anthony Edgil (Stephanie) and Cody Webb (Jennifer); great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Edgil, Matthew Edgil, Courtney Webb, Eli Webb and Raegan Rogers; sister, Pamela Vitalie (David); brother, Ronald Dockins; special cousin, Nellie Mae Jackson; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
