Boston College’s Jenna Ergle, Auburn’s Kaylee Horton and Alabama’s KB Sides turned in good performances at the during the weekend, with each producing at the plate for their teams.
Former Sumiton Christian star Ergle got three hits in seven plate appearances against the No. 12 Florida State Seminoles in Tallahassee. On Saturday, she hit her first home run of the season, a solo shot for Boston College’s only score of the game.
Her former teammate Sides had a double with a run scored and an RBI on Friday against No. 7 Kentucky, then went 2 for 4, both doubles, on Saturday for the Crimson Tide.
Former Curry star Horton went 3 for 4 with a run scored and a double for Auburn on Saturday against No. 18 Missouri, then scored a run on Sunday.
