• It looks like Jim Borden and Michael Pate had a good, close runoff race in District 3. But in the end Borden pulled it out with 157 votes out of 2,683 ballots, so don't say every vote doesn't count. The total turnout in the district was a quarter of the 10,216 votes that turned out for the runoff races in the county, so I imagine that the U.S. Senate race also stirred up interest as well.
