CARBON HILL - Police Chief Clark Sanford told the Carbon Hill City Council on March 9 he prefers using much of his own equipment to give his officers better equipment, noting he is seeing the worst conditions on the streets of Carbon Hill he has seen in his law enforcement career and inviting councilmen to ride the streets to see for themselves.
