Westbound lanes of Highway 78 in Jasper were shut down on Tuesday afternoon after a concrete truck overturned near Airport Road.  Two wreckers were dispatched to get it upright. No injuries were reported.  more

The Oakman town council on Monday passed a proclamation declaring the month of October as “Breast Cancer Awareness Month.” 
Mayor Cory Franks submitted the proclamation to the the council on Monday, which was passed unanimously.
