Seniors in Cordova got a unique Easter basket with their meal pickup at the Cordova Senior Center on Thursday. Center director Jamie Colvert collected supplies for spring cleaning baskets. Supplies were donated by the senior center, Alabama Hospice, Comfort Care Home Health and Hospice, Kindred Hospice, Cordova Health and Rehabilitation and Alan Duke of Viva Medicare.


Marty Cordell's journey to the piano at First Christian Church in Jasper was filled with laughter, pain, personal sacrifice and hardship. Through it all, one thing kept her going through the good and the bad — her faith in and service to God.
