WBRC Meteorologist J-P Dice, a flight instructor, visited the Walker County Center of Technology on Wednesday to discuss aviation meteorology with students. More than 10 students are enrolled in WCCT's aviation program that is made possible through a partnership with Sanders Aviation. Dice is one of many guests with aviation knowledge who will visit WCCT this school year.

ABC 33/40 Meteorologist James Spann visited Parrish Elementary School on Friday morning. Spann taught students about the science of weather and educated them on safety precautions to take during severe weather. The school gave Spann a cake that featured a photo of him forecasting a tornado, and he took time to pose for pictures with teachers and students.
