Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Houston Church of God, with burial following at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Arley. Bobby Head, Aaron Gann and Jerry Boyd will officiate, Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 5 p.m. at Houston Church of God.
She was preceded by her father, James “Jim” Pugh; mother, Estell Martha Freeman Pugh; husband, Ulysses Thompson; grandsons, George Vernon Hammack and Bobby Brown; great grandson, Fisher Hammock; son in law, Charles Dee Brown; brother, Vertis Pugh.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Bobby) Swindle and Brenda Brown; sons, Stanley (JoAnn) Thompson, Steve (Carol) Thompson and Rusty (Courtney) Thompson; brother, Larry Pugh; 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Vincent Hammack, Tim Hammack, Jamie Hammock, Jr. Thompson, Shon Estill, Roderick Morgan, Michael Bonner and Kaleb Estill.
