Ms. Karen Hamman and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hamman of Jasper announce the engagement of their son, Chad Michael Hamman, to Abigail Marie MacGregor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenton MacGregor of Louisville, Kentucky.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Melvin MacGregor and the late Mrs. Dorothea MacGregor of Evansville, Indiana and Mrs. Aileen Woerner and the late Mr. William Woerner of Louisville, Kentucky.
She is a 2006 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology (2010) and a master’s degree in business administration (2011). She was also a member of the Auburn University Swim Team. She is employed as a consultant at Ernst & Young in Charlotte, North Carolina .
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. Art Hamman and the late Mrs. Cathy Hamman of Athens, Tennessee and Mr. William Canoles and the late Mrs. Eula Canoles of Birmingham.
He is a 2006 graduate of Walker High School and Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in finance (2010) and a dual master’s in business administration and masters in finance (2012). He was vice president of Alpha Iota Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and was also a member of Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity. He is employed by Deloitte & Touche as an ERS consultant in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The wedding will take place Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mr. and Mrs. Steven Nolen of Fayette announce the engagement of their daughter, Camden Lee Nolen, to Parker Richard Mullen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mullen of Jasper.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Travis L. Hudson Sr. and the late Judge and Mrs. Charles W. Nolen Sr.
She is a 2009 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Alabama, where she graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in communicative disorders and a minor in human development. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in speech language pathology at the University of South Alabama in Mobile.
The prospective groom is the grandson of William and Marcelle McBee, the late Horace Glen Custred, Frances Mullen and the late John Mullen, all of Jasper.
He is a 2009 graduate of Walker High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Alabama, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is currently pursuing a doctor of medicine degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile.
The wedding will take place Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014 at Camp McDowell in Nauvoo with a reception at Musgrove Country Club. Formal invitations are being sent.
