How often do you hear “Someone needs to ... ”?

People often see a problem but don’t want to get involved. Instead, they wait for the government or some other group to “fix” the problem.

Stop waiting for “someone” to do something. Be that someone and get the ball rolling.

Want to help the elderly? Volunteer at a nursing home or with another local group that assists the elderly.

Are you passionate about animals? Get involved with a local rescue.

Worried about underprivledged children or families? Find a food bank and volunteer or donate your old clothing.

If you can’t get involved personally, maybe you can make a financial contribution to assist a local nonprofit.

The bottom line is that nothing will ever change if we all keep waiting for “someone” to come along and fix it.
