T.J.Maxx, the nation’s largest off-price retailer with more than 1,000 stores in 49 states and Puerto Rico, will open for business. The store, which will encompass 23,612 square feet, will be open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. for its grand opening.
Normal store hours are from 9:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday.
“We are pleased to expand our store base to Jasper, delivering value and an exciting selection of fashion to serve the needs of customers,” said Richard Sherr, president of T.J.Maxx. “With thousands of new items from top designers and brands arriving in each store every week from around the world, shoppers will discover a completely new store full of amazing values every time they visit.”
T.J. Maxx is one of four national retailers to locate in the redeveloped Jasper Square shopping center, located on U.S. 78. Hobby Lobby, Petco and Shoe Carnival are slated to open later this year in the shopping center. Last week, Hobby Lobby officials announced they had formally signed a lease agreement to open a store in Jasper.
Reusable bags will be given to the first 1,000 customers attending T.J. Maxx’s grand opening, company officials said.
