Winfred L. Tucker, 74, of Bremen, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.

Visitation will be today, April 5, 2014, at 6 p.m. at Bell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Sunday, April 6, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Rice’s Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Johnny Sims and the Rev. Wayne Williams will officiate.

Tucker was preceded in death by his daughter, Glenda Niblett; son, Dusty Day; sons-in-law, Billy Day and Don Wiggins; parents, James and Ethel Tucker; sisters, Aileen Tucker, Mary Sue Nelson and Emmalene Young; brother, the Rev. J.T. Tucker; and father- and mother- in-law, Sid and Viola Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Willodean Tucker of Bremen; daughters, Janet Wiggins, Stephanie Lockhart and her husband, Larry, and Melissa Tolbert and her husband, Terry, all of Bremen; son-in-law, David Niblett of Empire; sisters, Ila Mae Rouse of Sumiton, Carol Lynn and her husband, Mike of Duluth, Ga., and Betty Ruth Barrow and her husband, Jackie, of Warrior; brothers, Levone Tucker and his wife, Deanne, of Panama City, Fla., and Ervin Tucker of Duluth, Ga.; sister-in-law, Charlotte Tucker of Empire; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends, including his little dog, Toby.
