Adamsville police searching for a missing man who they say has special needs was found safe in Nashville Monday.

Dennis Brantley Branham, 20, often goes by Brantley and was last seen Saturday night when he left home with his guitar. His family had not heard from him since then. Adamsville police said that Branham was spotted at the Love’s Truck Stop in Jasper on Sunday morning, but by Sunday afternoon they had information that he had been seen on Interstate 65 near Cullman.

He was last seen wearing a maroon Bass Pro Shop jacket, jeans and a beige ball cap.

Police believed Branham was headed to Nashville to pursue dreams of becoming a singer/songwriter. He had recently received the guitar as a gift.

Branham does not drive and does not have a cell phone, according to Adamsville police.

Late Monday, police said Branham was found safe at the Nashville Rescue Mission.
