Ray Anchors and Michael and Carrie Sudduth proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Alkia Rae Anchors, to Matthew Roger Bradshaw, son of Roger and Melissa Bradshaw of Double Springs.
Miss Anchors is the granddaughter of the late Eli and Rose Potter of Michigan City, Ind. She is also the granddaughter of Lucious C. “Sonny” and Imogene Richardson of Jasper.
Alicia is a 2005 graduate of Walker High School and received her bachlor of science in elementary education with honors (Cum Laude) in 2011 from the University of North Alabama.
She is currently in her third year of teaching at Lupton Junior High School.
Matthew is the grandson of Betty McCullar and the late Allen McCullar of Double Springs. He is also the grandson of Clint and Irene Bradshaw of Double Springs.
He finished his high school education from Winston County High School in 2006 and furthered his education with top honors in 2013 at the Lookout Mountain School of Horseshoeing.
He is the owner of Bradshaw’s Farm and Ferrier Service in Double Springs.
The wedding will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at the Lakeshore Inn and Marina in Double Springs.

Charles and Sallie Woods of Cordova and Tim and Janet Davis of Jasper announce the engagement of their daughter, Jerrica Woods, to Jordan Trotter, son of Thomas and Robin Trotter of Jasper.
Jerrica is the granddaughter of Charles Edward Woods of Argo, Blain and Linda Drake of Jasper, Betty and the late Clayton Stinett of Sumiton, and Midge and the late Terry Knight of Arley.
She is a 2008 graduate of Cordova High School and is currently employed with Cordova Health and Rehab.
Jordan is the grandson of Oliver and Maxine Dodson of Jasper, Oma Carroll of Nauvoo, J.C. Trotter of Jasper, and the late Richard Sherer.
He is a 2009 graduate of Walker High School and attended Bevill State Community College. He is currently employed with Drummond Coal Company.
The wedding will take place Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at 5 p.m. at the Old Miller Plantation on Gardners Gin Road in Cordova.
