She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus; parents, Carrie and P.C. Kimbrell; three brothers; one sister; one granddaughter, Rena Sims; and one grandson, Rex Tate.
She is survived by daughter, Joyce Mahalak of Michigan; son, Ronald (Becky) Tubbs of Hazel Green; daughter, Patricia (Gean) Herron of Jasper; granddaughters, Donna Ellis, Teressa Allen, Melissa (Steve) Gann and Stefanie Tubbs; two grandsons, Larry Ellis and Kevin Sims; two great-grandsons, Braxton Sims and Christopher Allen; three great-granddaughters, Toni Foltz, Martika Allen and Tiffani Chapman; two great-great-granddaughters, Graci and Glori Foltz; great-great-grandson, Landon Sims; and a host of family and friends.
Eula was a much-loved Christian lady, famous for her fried pies and her church work. Her last years were spent at Ridgeveiw Health Facility where she had wonderful care from workers who treated and loved her as family.
Viewing will be held today, Aug. 10, from 6 until 9 p.m. at Collins Burke Funeral Home. Funeral will be Sunday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m. at Collins Burke. Burial will be in Walker Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to Childhaven Orphanage.
