Jerrel Brumley passed away July 16, 2013, at the age of 84 in Russellville Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clinta Faye Lawler Brumley; parents, Plumer George and Lola Jackson Brumley; grandson, Chris Raburn; brothers, Elmer and Kenneth Brumley; sisters, Mary Frances Kinsey and Glydia Patterson.

He is survived by two sons, Stan (Judy) Brumley of Hamilton, Miss., and Keith (Gina) Brumley of Hackleburg; daughters, Linda (Ken) Raburn of Hodges and Kathy (Danny) Carter of Jasper; grandchildren, Stacy (Mike) Phillips, Kelsey Brumley of Hamilton, Miss., Clinta Che' (James) Reed, Jeri Carter, Conway, Ark., and Rocklin Brumley of Hackleburg; great-grandchildren, Evan Phillips of Hamilton, Miss., Taylor Raburn, Brady and Emily Caldwell of Foley, Caleb Carter Reed and Eli Daniel Reed of Conway; and special sister-in-law and friend, F.E. Brumley.

He worked at Blue Bell in Hackleburg and NTN Bower in Hamilton, then retired. He was also a deacon at First Missionary Baptist Church at Hodges for more than 29 years.

Services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013, at 4 p.m. at the Hodges First Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Old Line Cemetery.
