Yellow Jacket Day scheduled for Saturday at Curry High School

The Curry Football Booster Club will host “Yellow Jacket Day” this Saturday, May 18, at Curry High School, which will feature a number of fun activities, including a Spirit Tent and a Yard Sale. The event will be held from 8 a.m. until all events are completed.

The Curry Middle School Cheerleaders will be selling baked goods and the Varsity Cheerleaders will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks, and cotton candy will also be available.

The event will also feature a Cow Patty Drop with the plots available for $10 for a chance to win $2,000 and surrounding plots to win $250 each side. A 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament with the All-Star Cheerleaders performing dance during the tournament. Cheerleaders will also be selling concessions at the tournament. And a Fastpitch Softball Tournament for girls 14 and under. The Entry fee is $60 and a first place trophy will be awarded.

Everyone is invited to come out and support the Curry Yellow Jackets. All proceeds from the event will go to the Curry Football Booster Club.
