Joyce Helen Tate Lane Odom Stone crossed gently over from her, loving, earthly home Victorian Manor in Hanceville on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the age of 78, and she went to her Heavenly home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior.

She was a loving mother and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. She was a devoted fan of Elvis. She was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., and raised in North Miami Beach, Fla. She was preceded by her parents, Clifford and Frances Tate; husbands, Robert C. Lane, who was a casualty of the Korean War; and Thomas E. Stone; brothers, Clinton Tate and Pete Tate; and sister, Beth Wilcox.

She is survived by her children, Brenda (Randy) Yancey, Craig (Traci) Odom, and Ray Odom; grandchildren, Jeff LeMaster, Jennifer (Aaron) Brook, David Southwick, Terri Lyn (Pat) Kyles, Denise Odom, and Tate Odom; great-grandchildren, Will and Gracelyn; sisters, Dixie Simonic of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Sandra (Bob) DiPilla of Tequesta, Fla.,; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. Wayne Williams will be officiating.
