Mrs. Hoffman was born on January 24, 1926 in Carbon Hill, Ala.
She is survived by her husband, David Hoffman; children, Gerald (Jaylyn) Rollins, Joseph Neal (Barbara) Rollins, Susan Hoffman (Mike) Jones, Lee Ann Hoffman, Lynn Hoffman (David) Vandevort, and David T. (Joan) Hoffman III; sister, Yvonne (Harvey) Porter; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Norman Sandlin and Bobby Sandlin; and son, John William "Jack" Rollins.
Mrs. Hoffman loved the Lord and strived every day to make her life a living example of The Gospel. She was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She loved her family with all her heart and nothing made her happier than to cook for a house full of people. She was a passionate reader and a life-long supporter of the Republican Party.
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home Lexington Chapel is assisting the family. Plans will be announced at a later date.
