Azilee Bobo Howard, 97, of Eldridge, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at her residence. Mrs. Howard was born on Feb. 26, 1915, in Pickens County, a daughter of John William Bobo and Minnie Belle Vaughn Bobo. She was a resident of Eldridge for the past 40 years. She was a widow of the Rev. I.D. Howard; and a faithful member of Eldridge United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by all her brothers, sisters, half-brothers and and sisters.

Survivors include three sons, Cecil Howard and his wife, Sarah, of Muscle Shoals, Joe Charles Howard, better known as J.C. Howard and his wife, Carolyn, of Eldridge and David Howard of McCalla; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held today, March 1, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Eldridge United MEthodist Church. Burial will follow at Kelley Cemetery. Bro. John Mooney will officiate.
