Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Oakman. Bill Phillips will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Cornelius; mother, Ida Bell Cornelius; and infant child, Terry Allen Murray.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Uptain; stepdaughter, Teresa Uptain Allen of Jasper; daughter, Cheryl Wade; sons, Charles Murray, Tyler Uptain, Kevin Uptain and Gary Uptain; sister, Linda Lowery; brother, Terry Cornelius; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Charles Alvin Murray, Jessie Ray Murray, Tyler Uptain, Ben Allen, Jarrod Wade and Brayden Hall.
