Ralph L. Key Sr., 73, of Parrish (Goodsprings), died peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper after a long illness. His love of his life, Linda Allen, and sons, Ralph, Tyrone and Mike, were at his side, and his special step-grandson, Kory Martin. Ralph retired from Western Auto. He also worked as a security guard at Taft Coal before he became ill. A special thanks to New Beacon Hospice.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home.

Key was preceded in death by his, father, Harold Key; mother, Willie Mae Hall Key; brothers, John Key and Bobby Key Sr.; nephew, Bobby Key Jr.

Survivors are his love, Linda; sons, Ralph (Sherrill) of Eldridge, and Bobby Tyrone (Shannon) and Mike (Alana), both of Parrish; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; step-children, Kathy Davis (Gerald), and Belinda Allen, all of Parrish, Jeffery Allen (Kathy) of Calif.; six step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Alvis and Johnny Bilitz; and several nieces and nephews.
